The Twine & Stem Difference

This little business was founded by me,  Allie,  in mid-2020, in the midst of the pandemic lockdown.  It stemmed (pardon the pun!) from a need to split our everyday bouquets and flower deliveries away from its sister business, a wedding & event flower operation called Classic Bouquets that has been operating since 2012.
With Twine and Stem, we can retain full creative freedom and provide beautiful flower bouquets for any occasion, small or large, while pursuing my passion for eco-conscious business operations.
Each bouquet is created with care - we hand pick a selection of 6-12 different types of flowers from the current growing season, sourced ultra-fresh from local farms within 10kms of the studio, then combined with handpicked garden treasures from our garden surrounding my Mount Dandenong studio.
I'm a firm believer in sustainable business practices and working to reduce our carbon and waste footprint. All bouquets are presented in recycled glass jars and wrapped in post-consumer brown paper wrap and tied with twine.
In late 2019, we invested in a fully-electric delivery van and our studio will soon be off-grid and self-sustained with reused rainwater.
